Consumer Health Data Privacy

Effective September 7, 2026

This notice from Pantry Provisions Inc. supplements the Sea Provisions Privacy Policy. Allergy and dietary information may be treated as consumer health data or other sensitive information under applicable law, even though Sea Provisions is a provisioning tool and does not provide healthcare.

Information and sources

We process allergy names, dietary restrictions, cultural food preferences and related notes supplied by you or a vessel/fleet representative, together with the account, crew or vessel identifiers associated with them. Provisioning choices and generated lists may also reveal or support inferences about dietary needs. We do not obtain medical records, connect to health-record or wearable services, or track visits to healthcare facilities. Do not include diagnoses or unnecessary medical details in notes.

Purpose

This information helps apply the dietary constraints requested for a vessel or crew member, generate and revise plans, and support the requested provisioning service. Related audit history supports accountability and correction. We do not use it for advertising, sell it, or use it to decide eligibility for employment, credit, insurance or healthcare. A privacy notice or agreement to general terms is not a substitute for any separate consent required by law.

Access and disclosure

Authorized vessel/fleet users may see the dietary information in their permitted scope. Shared accounts, helper plans and exported lists can expose provision choices to their recipients. DigitalOcean and authorized infrastructure personnel process stored information to host, secure and back up the service. If you put dietary information in a support message, our support administrators and Microsoft-hosted mailbox process that message. Support tickets are stored on our servers; Resend also processes the message when automatic ticket emails are enabled. We do not have a separate affiliate-sharing program for this information.

Kroger receives the products and quantities you choose to send to its cart, which can reveal dietary choices; it does not receive a separate crew allergy profile from us. Optional notifications use Google Firebase for delivery. Avoid adding sensitive details to any message or shared note. You or your organization must have an appropriate legal basis for providing another person's information and for disclosing it to the intended recipients.

Your rights and choices

Contact asherduben@pantryprovision.com with “Sea Provisions health data request” to ask whether we process your information, request access or deletion, correct a detail, withdraw consent, or ask about recipients. You may do this without an account. Do not include sensitive details in the initial message. The privacy-request page explains verification, deletion and appeals.

Where Washington's My Health My Data Act applies, rights include access to the data and a list of third parties and affiliates with relevant contact information, withdrawal of consent, deletion and appeal of a refusal. We handle applicable requests within the law's deadlines, notify relevant recipients of deletion requests, and include archived/backup data in deletion handling as required. If a refusal is upheld on appeal, you can contact the Washington Attorney General. Other applicable laws may provide additional rights.

You can request removal of dietary details while retaining other account functions. A plan produced without those details may not account for the affected person's dietary requirements. Always verify food labels and safe handling independently.
